I am very happy to take over the high quality at the Seeplatz'l from Mathias and enriching it with my ideas.
Max Sampl is the new chef at the restaurant Seeplatz'l next to the Grundlsee..He will take over the kitchen and the team of Matthias Schütz, who will attend new challenges.
In 2012, Max Sampl completed his apprenticeship at the Hotel Alpina in St. Johann. Afterwards the "chef with the fly" (Note: a fly is the hallmark of the young chef) could develop very quickly from a commis de cuisine to a chef. Most recently, he scored 14 Gault Millau points at the restaurant Pfeffermühle.
