From here you will take the lovingly-restored MS Rudolf or MS Traun motor boats on a 6.5km boat tour through the Grundlsee. Passing the 1,600-meter-high Backenstein and the Grundlsee Castle, you will reach the town of Gößl after an inspiring 30-minute boat ride.
After a 20 minute hike you will reach the enchanting Toplitzsee. From here you can hike up one of the traditional plateaus past the waterfalls to the romantic Kammersee lake, discovering the origins of the Traun river.
Note: The ships on the Grundlsee and Toplitzsee operate from May to October. In case of bad weather, shipping is restricted.
